Shipping rates and delivery information
We publish our standard shipping rates so you can estimate costs before placing an order. Heavy, oversized, and palletized orders may require an additional freight quote.
Standard wholesale shipping rates
Standard rates apply to orders shipping within the contiguous United States. Shipping charges are based on the merchandise subtotal before taxes.

Standard rates apply to contiguous U.S. orders only. Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, Canada, and international orders are quoted separately based on the destination and product mix.
Heavy, oversized, and freight orders
- Some products cost more to ship because of their weight, dimensions, fragility, or packaging requirements. This may include heavy growing media, large pots, oversized assortments, and palletized orders.
- Applicable product surcharges may be shown at checkout.
- Orders containing oversized, palletized, or freight-classified items may require additional freight charges beyond standard shipping rates.
- If additional freight charges apply, our team will contact you prior to shipment, provide a freight quote for approval, and confirm delivery details before processing.
- The $99 charge on orders of $1,000 or more is a shipping contribution. Heavy, oversized, or palletized orders may require an additional quote.
Shipping Methods
- Orders may ship via UPS, FedEx, USPS, regional carriers, or LTL freight carriers, depending on order size, destination, and product composition.
- Lost in the Forrest reserves the right to select the most appropriate carrier and shipping method for each order.
Processing Times
- Most wholesale orders ship within 3–7 business days during normal operating periods.
- Larger, freight, seasonal, or high-volume orders may require additional processing time.
- If extended lead times apply, our team will communicate updates directly.
Split Shipments
- To ensure timely delivery and safe transit, orders may ship in multiple packages or from multiple warehouse locations.
- Split shipments may arrive on different dates.
Shipping Address Requirements
- Please ensure all shipping information is accurate at checkout.
- Lost in the Forrest is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect addresses, refused deliveries, or additional carrier fees due to address changes after shipment.
- Additional fees incurred from re-routing or failed delivery attempts may be charged to the customer.
Delivery & Inspection
- Please inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.
- Any shipping damage, shortages, or delivery issues must be reported within 5 business days of delivery.
- When reporting damage, include photos of packaging, photos of damaged items, and order information.
- Failure to report shipping issues within this timeframe may limit our ability to file carrier claims or issue replacements.
International Shipping
- At this time, standard wholesale shipping rates apply only to orders shipping within the contiguous United States.
- For Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and international orders, parcel/freight is invoiced separately after we send a shipping quote and you approve it, before shipment.
Shipping Policy Updates
- Lost in the Forrest reserves the right to update shipping rates, freight policies, carrier methods, and this Shipping Policy as the wholesale program changes.
